Athens (Greece): Renowned writer and philosopher Dr Steven Roy today announced the dates for Writers Capital Foundational’s mega-event, Panorama International Literature Festival (PILF 2021). In an event held virtually, he also launched the official website of the festival that will also help participants to register for the global event. The Festival is scheduled to start on November 15 and will continue till December 15, 2021.
The festival will feature thousands of writers from across the world who will present their works virtually. The works will be featured on various social media platforms and on the world wide web. Apart from this, there will be symposiums, expert lecturing, cultural exchange, Panorama Golden Literature Awards and much more which will collectively make PILF a grand global festival for writers and literary enthusiasts.
The theme for PILF 2021 is Shoonya: The Celestial Void. Speaking during the event Dr Steven Roy congratulated the organisers for choosing a long-forgotten genre of metaphysical literature as the theme for PILF 2021. “Metaphysical, a philosophical concept used in literature to describe things that are beyond the description of physical existence, has attracted the attention of readers since time immemorial,” he said. PILF 2021 would certainly brainstorm the idea among the writers of the present generation, he further added.
Noted writers across the world are expected to participate in the event, said Irene Doura – Kavadia, Secretary-General of WCF. “Coordinators are being appointed in various countries in order to ensure the maximum participation from each country. Apart from this, a dedicated team comprising of experts from various fields are working tirelessly to see the mega event successful, added the Secretary-General.
